Terms and Conditions I AGREE 1) Allowed/Prohibited Sites
Top 100 Linux Sites is open to sites which primarily focus on the Linux Operating System and associated software. Not accepted are sites containing, or containing links to, content promoting illegal activity or
advice, racism, hate, spam, warez or hacking. We do reserve the right to delete any site, at any time, that we determine contains inappropriate site content. 2) Ownership
You must be the legal site owner/operator of the domain and banner you submit and you may only submit it once at any one time. Your site title must
match what is on your site, may not be in all capital letters and may not contain swear or otherwise inappropriate words. 3) Email
You agree that from time to time we may send emails to the email address you provide for news and/or account maintenance purposes. As per our privacy policy, your address will not be sold
or rented. 4) Adding Vote Code
You must add one of the provided "Top 100 Linux Sites", “Vote For Us” banners or links, within 72 hours of signing up, on your site's main page. Code may not be edited in anyway and links cannot be opened into frames. Code may only appear on pages at the domain you
submitted to us when you signed up your site and may not be removed until you decide to no longer participate in this program. 5) Encouraging Voting
You may encourage your visitors to vote at your site but you may not use unsolicited email, newsgroup posts, chat rooms, ICQ, IRC, AOL IM or other instant messaging
services to encourage people to vote. You may not use misleading or deceptive text or banners to encourage people to vote. Visitors must always know that they are casting a vote for your site when their actions cause a vote to be cast. 6) Voting Limits
Each site may receive one vote (hit), per person, per 24 hour
period. All votes (hits) are logged and any attempts to circumvent this rule will be detected resulting in the deduction of votes from your account or your account being deleted without notice. 7) Ranking Updates
The rankings and votes are automatically updated every hour. All sites votes are reset at the same time
once a week to ensure fairness to newly added sites. 8) Inactive Accounts
Accounts that have not added our graphic or link within 1 week, as per section 4, or receive less than 1 vote a week are automatically deleted.
Any site who's ID is associated with a violation of any of our voting rules will be
subject to immediate review. This review may result in adjustment of statistics, account suspension or deletion. If we email you to give you the opportunity to come into compliance of our rules, you will be given 48 hours to comply before your account will be deleted. I AGREE |
